Eudaemon is one step away from being complete

I am really happy

In these past few days, I have practically eliminated every other activity from my life to make room only for the development of Eudaemon.

The amount of hours I’ve spent on it in such a short time is quite worrying. If I opened my monitor, there was Flutter. If I closed my monitor, I kept thinking about Flutter. I think I even started dreaming about widgets and stack traces at night.

But, at the end of the day, it was definitely worth it.

I am truly satisfied with how it is turning out.

The great thing about developing a personal project is that you don’t have to convince anyone. There are no meetings, tickets, sprint planning, or the classic “could you move that button 3 pixels to the left?”.

I built it exactly how I would want to use it.

With the features I really need, without useless things put there just to fill space, and without absurd limitations.

It only takes a couple of screens to realize how far along the project already is, considering it was born practically from scratch.

The next steps are to add the last features I have in mind, refine the interface a bit, do a nice code cleanup (because every developer knows very well that there is always that one file that works perfectly but that no one wants to open anymore), and fix all those little details that you always postpone during development by telling yourself “I’ll think about it later”.

After that, the time will finally come for publication on the Play Store.

Honestly, I can’t wait.

It will be my first published application, and I am really curious to see what people will think of it and if it will manage to be useful to someone. If even just one person manages to build a good habit thanks to Eudaemon, all these hours in front of the PC will have been worth it. :)
