Linkin Park have been my favorite band forever.
I still remember when I used to listen to them on a very old pen drive-shaped MP3 player that my uncle gave me. Their songs have accompanied every phase of my life, becoming the soundtrack to memories, changes, and moments that I still carry with me.
For me, Waiting for the End perfectly represents what the song aims to convey: the perception that an end is always near. Not a painful end or one to be feared, but something serene and almost necessary, because it is capable of coinciding with a new beginning.
This song also holds a deep, mental and sentimental bond with the most important person in my life. It is our song, the symbol of a memory that time will never be able to erode.
